Nope its not windows mobile 7 or anything its just an update to current OS but with lots of features that were long overdue.

Microsoft isn’t actually officially announcing R2 until Thursday at an event in Japan, but the changelog and a download have already appeared on the web for your eager eyes—revealing the big addition of video over IP calling in addition to bolstered VoIP features and other obvious-but-welcome tweaks like SDHC support and Remote Desktop Protocol 6.0. No word on when OEMs will start rolling any of this out.

This workaround allows users to perform a “clean install.” The process is a bit tedious, but is not hard at all to complete. Users have to perform these simple steps to perform a clean install of Vista without a previous version of Windows installed with an upgrade DVD:

>Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD and start the setup program.

>When prompted to enter your product key, DO NOT enter it. Click “Next” and proceed with setup. This will install Windows Vista as a 30-day trial.

>When prompted, select the edition of Vista which you have purchased and continue with setup.

>Once setup has been completed and you have been brought to the desktop for the first time, run the install program from within Windows Vista.

>This time, type in your product key when prompted.

>When asked whether to perform an Upgrade or Custom (advanced) install, choose Custom (advanced) to perform a clean install of Vista. Yes, this means that you will have to install Vista for a second time.

>Once setup has completed for the second time, you should be able to activate Windows Vista normally. You can also delete the Windows.old directory which contains information from the first Vista install.

Recently i was working on a DOS program (16 Bit) and was playing music on Winamp.But as soon as the application powered up, it sucked up my CPU (100% usage) and the songs started to skip …. tired of searching microsoft’s site for some explanation on this, i jumped on to Google for some logical answers.

Now what i came up with was really awesome
Its called TameDos. It restricts the CPU usage to less than 10 % (almost all programs) depending on application and also the response time of key press and mouse movement was better

Apple recently released a software called BootCamp for people who wanted to run Windows XP on there Intel MAC’s.Now people can dual boot to windows xp but apple says that it wont provide support for windows… u might be thinking well who the heck needs support… as it turns out the famous Blue screen of death doesnt even spare MAC’s . People are witnessing BSOD while connection there USB devices.

We have all experinced the long waiting time for the stupid adobe reader to load up for viewing even a 50KB PDF file. While surfing on the net i came through this beautiful software called FOXit Reader which loads as fast as ur IE loads. Everyone should atleast give this a try.
